Welcome to BarcodeReady (accessible from barcodeready.com). Your privacy is of paramount importance to us. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. The operator and data controller of BarcodeReady can be reached at contact@barcodeready.com.
BarcodeReady is designed as a high-performance utility tool. Most barcode generations (such as CODE128, EAN, QR Codes) are processed entirely client-side using JavaScript in your browser. Any data you input to generate barcodes remains on your local machine and is never sent to our servers or stored by us. For specific formats that may require server-side rendering, data is processed temporarily in-memory solely to output the image/PDF file and is immediately discarded. We do not store, log, or share your barcode content.
We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google LLC ("Google"), to monitor and analyze web traffic and track user behavior. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect standard internet log information and visitor behavior information in an anonymous form. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. You can choose to accept or decline these cookies through our Cookie Consent Banner.
Google is a third-party vendor on our site. It uses cookies, including DoubleClick DART cookies, to serve personalized advertisements to our site visitors based on their visits to BarcodeReady and other sites on the internet. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
Important Disclosures:

• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and/or other sites on the Internet.

We support Google Consent Mode v2. When you first visit our site, you can choose to grant or deny consent for statistical and advertising cookies via our custom Cookie Consent Banner. If you wish to change your preferences later, you can clear your browser's local storage/cookies for our domain, which will trigger the Cookie Consent Banner to reappear on your next reload, or use your browser's settings to block cookies entirely.

• Request that a business disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal data that a business has collected about consumers.
• Request that a business delete any personal data about the consumer that a business has collected.
• Request that a business that sells a consumer's personal data, not sell the consumer's personal data (we do not sell any personal data).
Since we do not store personal details or barcode data on our servers, we maintain a zero-retention policy for utility inputs. Web server logs (which capture IP addresses and user agents for security purposes) are automatically deleted or anonymized within 30 days. We employ modern security protocols and SSL encryption to ensure that all interactions with our domain are encrypted and secure.
Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity. BarcodeReady does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13.
We have designated a Data Protection contact to handle any inquiries related to privacy. You can contact our team directly regarding GDPR rights or general privacy inquiries at contact@barcodeready.com.
